Fiwe launches Onboarder – an AI-powered service for onboarding of product data

Receiving product data from suppliers has for long been one of the most time-consuming and difficult-to-automate processes when working with product information. But thanks to recent technological advances, it is now possible to allow systems to interpret and structure data in ways previously not possible.

Now Fiwe launches Onboarder — a cloud service that combines automation and scalability in a completely new way of working. The onboarding of product data changes from manually managing suppliers' files to controlling and allowing the system to perform the work with data management.

“Onboarder is a result of our ambition to develop useful cloud-based services that bring business benefits to our customers today and make them ready to face the changes that tomorrow brings. It's about simplifying a process and at the same time finding a way to work together with the technology. To succeed, we need to solve the problems throughout the chain and make everyday life easier for both suppliers and retailers,” says Mitra Javadzadeh, Head of Business Development at Fiwe.

Onboarder enables retailers to manage the formats and structure of data provided by suppliers. Suppliers receive direct feedback and can correct data themselves, while retailers avoid manual mapping, follow-up and corrections. This leads to higher data quality and significantly more efficient processes while drastically reducing manual labor.

Fiwe developed Onboarder in close collaboration with customers and suppliers in 2025. By interviewing, testing and iterative development, invaluable insights have been gathered from both the retailer and supplier perspective. This has ensured that the solution is based on real needs and challenges. Glenn Svanberg, AI Developer & Innovation Advocate at Fiwe, says:

Onboarder is now being launched in a first version and will be continuously developed in close collaboration with Fiwe's customers.
