PostNord's E-barometer Q1 2025: What does 9% growth mean for the future of e-commerce?

Fiwe summarizes some insights from the newly released e-barometer for Q1 2025, published by PostNord in collaboration with HUI Research.

The report highlights important trends and developments in Swedish e-commerce and provides a good insight into how the industry is navigating through economic uncertainty and changing consumer behaviour.

PostNord e-barometer shows that e-commerce is moving strongly into 2025, with its highest growth since the pandemic year 2021. But at the same time, the report is clear – the situation around the world remains uncertain and competition from international players is increasing.

At Fiwe we are following the development closely. Understanding trends in circular e-commerce, customer experience and international logistics is crucial to delivering solutions that make a difference.

We see that players who succeed with data-driven decisions, flexible PIM/DAM solutions and relevant personalization are the strongest in the new e-commerce map. They are also the ones who can link sustainability focus to increased customer loyalty." Says Peter Karlsson, Business Advisor at Fiwe.

Our reflection: Companies that combine relevant data with a clear customer focus and a future-proof tech stack – will be the ones that gain market shares in a more fragmented market.

We look forward to continuing our journey together towards a successful and sustainable future in e-commerce!
